Welcome to the website of the American Society of Podiatric Medical Assistants.

The ASPMA is an organization of Podiatric Medical Assistants of about 1400 members whose purpose is to improve the profession of Podiatric Medical Assisting by providing educational opportunities for its members, which allow them the privilege of attaining Certification in either the Clinical or Administrative category.  We also provide the opportunity for fellowship and friendly relations with others in your profession.  The ASPMA is a related organization of the APMA, which is the professional organization of the Podiatrists.

If you are a member of ASPMA we hope you visit us often and help us keep the website informative and new all the time by contributing questions, articles, etc. that we can use to keep updated.  We look forward to all members becoming proactive in this endeavor.

The Sandra Lohrentz Educational & Resource Center

Today at the Midwest Podiatry Conference 2009, in honor of Sandra Lohrentz, we have announced the Sandra Lohrentz Educational & Resource Center available today for you to obtain more educational materials.

We will be working hard to continue developing this center and realize one of Sandra's dream, to bring more education to more podiatric medical assistants throughout the US.

With sadness we regret to inform you that our Executive Director Sandra Lohrentz passed away on Tuesday February 24th, 2009. She leaves a long legacy of hardwork, achievements and memories with friends, family and patients.
